A group collaboration, with Sabo as the pairing
A little FGO, a little Cthulhu, and other short stories inspired by wild ideas
If you had seven days to travel to the world of anime, what would you do?
Change the death of a character you love, take the chance to see scenery that exists only in anime, or have a brief romance?
No. There’s none of that here.
All we have are male idols whose images have been shattered, me cosplaying and actually becoming the Chain of Heaven, and a deserted island where not a bird can be heard by day and a hundred ghosts roam by night.
“Want some?”
With tears in my eyes, I took the grilled lion meat and bit into it.
“Sure.”
A two-way travel group setup
1. Timeline
After the watch-along, the modern-world group transmigrates from a convention, followed by the One Piece guys transmigrating in the other direction.
2. Convention transmigration setup
After transmigrating, everyone gains their original character’s custom skills as well as the skills of the character they cosplayed.
For example, if your original character is a mage, you really can use magic after transmigrating. Someone cosplaying Marco can use the Phoenix Fruit.
But their souls remain their own, so the One Piece guys might realize that this gender-swapped person isn’t really them.
3. One Piece guys transmigrating in the other direction
The One Piece guys transmigrate as souls. Their bodies gradually become visible as their affection levels rise.
For example, at affection level 10, only their eyes become corporeal; at level 80, their whole body does.
One batch of disembodied One Piece guys can’t see another batch.
At the end, the One Piece guys will be taken to the next convention, where the tour guide will host a dinner so everyone can part on good terms. (Not really.)
4. Watch-along topics / to be added
① The Paramount War ② What do you think is the most compelling thing about the Pirate King manga?
③ What got you into it?
④ What do you think of xxx?
Why do you like xxx?
⑥ What if your ship came true...?
