The Sword Immortal in Another World

On the eve of the new-season update for the xianxia game Qingzhou, player Ji Shuangliu was transported to another world.

He had planned to lead the locals in farming and infrastructure development to improve their lives, but the world turned out to be far more dangerous than he had imagined. It was full of werewolves, vampires, and all kinds of dangerous creatures.

With his level reset and nothing left but his character customization and cosmetics, Ji Shuangliu fell into deep thought.

...The most urgent thing was to level up as fast as possible! Restoring the glory of the sword immortals was our duty!

Human lives pass in the blink of an eye, while lives blessed by the twin moons endure for ages.

Alvis racked his brains trying to turn the stubborn human into one of his kind.

He tried mixing his blood into the other man’s teacup and entering his dreams in the middle of the night to probe his thoughts. After dropping hints both subtle and blatant, he resigned himself to the truth: the man’s will was unbreakable, purer even than the knights of the Holy Temple.

Meanwhile, Ji Shuangliu felt the difficulty of living in another world suddenly shoot up.

A casual appraisal spell while drinking tea revealed that someone had poisoned it. Assassins might break into his home at any moment. There was no way he could keep living in this godforsaken place.

The only reassuring thing was that as his cultivation improved, his lifespan grew right along with it.

Wait... Why do you look like I’m about to drop dead at any moment?

Theme: Live life earnestly.
