Synopsis: Outline: Jiang Xubai and Shen Qingping are friends with an ambiguous relationship. People around them think that despite their difference in status and incompatible genders, Jiang Xubai is deeply devoted to Shen Qingping, and Shen Qingping doesn't dislike him either. Perhaps all that separates them from getting together is a thin layer of window paper, and Jiang Xubai is determined to pierce through it.
Jiang Xubai invites Shen Qingping to vacation at his family's resort. A last-minute assignment delays Jiang Xubai by three days, and while Shen Qingping waits, he happens to meet Meng Yuzhou, Jiang Xubai's cousin, who is vacationing there.
Meng Yuzhou is the head of the distinguished Meng family, a dignified and imposing male Tianqian.
They should have been no more than casual acquaintances, but Shen Qingping senses something unusual in Meng Yuzhou's gaze.
Meng Yuzhou's friends traveling with him also notice his strange behavior.
