Nie Xiling's mouth twitches. Her arm is dead, she's still alive, and she faints.
On her nth day trying to get herself killed, the Shang Dynasty enthrones a new ruler. Zheng Jin's thin lips curl in a mocking sneer as he defies his superiors. She jolts, then kisses him in front of all the officials, watching his expression as he seems ready to choke her to death.
Nie Xiling looks as though she's about to cry, but inwardly rejoices: This one's a sure thing.
That night, she curls up pitifully on his bed, fluttering her lashes as if to escape. The man grabs her by the ankle. Then Zheng Jin looks at the scratches across his chest and smiles faintly.
"Miss Ling, you're too rough."
Nie Xiling: ? My surname is Nie, hello!
A sweet little romance, with both leads entirely devoted to each other.
Warning: The hero has concubines at the beginning, but remains pure in both body and heart. Later, the heroine is the only one.
