Summer Sand

Xia Sha is a stunning beauty at a science and engineering university.

She's clever but not much of a hard worker, and she has a strong sense of justice, always standing up for people.

While watching a friend's shop, she's provoked. Xia Sha decides that if she can settle things with her fists, there's no need to argue, and ends up accidentally injuring her fellow student Jing Hao.

A steady young man from the grasslands and a mischievous city girl: their story begins...

[Note]

An old-school campus romance from 2008! An open ending leaning toward a happy ending.

!!! Highly recommended: the completed criminal investigation novel The Art of Detective Work!!!

A female criminal investigation team captain and her childhood friend, a male officer working behind the scenes. A case-solving main plot, told in episodic investigations, with plenty of sweet, adorable chemistry!

Childhood friend becomes her superior. The heroine has trained in Wing Chun since childhood; she's beautiful and cool, but blushes easily. The hero has played piano since he was little; he's handsome, rich, and devoted.

Each volume features a different type of case, with one or more cases per volume, including headless corpses, stewed human heads, serial rape and murder, revenge killings, bodies hidden in concrete, twisted corpse-fetishism, luring and exploitation, and people dismembered while still alive.

The cases involve multiple police departments, including criminal investigation, forensic science, narcotics, and immigration. The story focuses on criminal investigation, drawing on forensic medicine and criminal psychology, while also depicting everyday police work.

Premise: Keep striving every day!
