Also known as The Third Master Chen Wants to Get Rich
Jia Chen has been troubled lately.
Ask him why? One word: worry! Two words: broke!
He is the grandson of the Duke of Rong, and the legitimate son of the first-rank general who now runs the Rongguo Mansion. Who would believe that he is fretting over money?
But reality is that harsh and cold. Feeling his chilly, pitifully empty purse, Jia Chen can't help but feel tears well up from the depths of his heart.
Meeting the eager gaze of his Lin cousin, Jia Chen gives his hopelessly flat purse a shake. Looking into little Sister Lin's sparkling, hopeful eyes, he grits his teeth, slaps the empty purse onto the table, and makes up his mind.
He will earn money!
He will get rich!
He will make a fortune!
Next year, he'll rake in the big bucks and buy his little sister a luxurious carriage. Bird's nest and abalone at every meal, and fox-fur coats and jeweled ornaments: he'll deck her out in all of them.
The heroine is Lin Daiyu. The leads will be each other's only love, in a past-and-present-life story from the Three Lives Stone series. They truly love one another and are determined to edge Jia Baoyu out. Master Chen makes his dazzling entrance.
