I Ascended to Immortality by Putting Scumbags in Their Place

After leaving an infinite-flow game, Wei Xi became the Sword Sect's junior granduncle. Someone who had traveled back from the future was also by his side. According to this person, their senior brother's disciple had run into a scumbag and was about to be forced to choose between two people. Wei Xi sneered, ordered his junior grandnephew to beat the scumbag up, and then reached Foundation Establishment. Wei Xi came away with a rich haul from a trip to a secret realm. When he emerged, the person who had long been eyeing his position provoked him. After losing, the other man tried to hurt someone while pretending it was an accident, only to injure himself instead. And Wei Xi? He formed his Golden Core right then and there. Later on... Wei Xi beat up scumbags all the way through his cultivation breakthroughs. The people of the cultivation world watched the drama unfold while trying to guess who the Sword Sect's junior granduncle would beat up next. Bonus scene: The people had changed, but in the end, the forced choice still happened. Wei Xi suggested that instead of making someone lose the one they loved, they should lose a leg. Why choose one of the two people when it would hurt so much more to make him choose which leg to keep? The scumbag's enemy thought he had a point, left his beloved behind, and turned his blade on the scumbag instead. As always, a light novel with a satisfying plot and an unstoppable protagonist who never has to suffer indignity. Theme: Stay true to yourself and be a good person.
