The Online Romance Fallacy

[A short story! Updates have resumed~] 🔈"Cheerful, radiant beauty × aloof, pure-hearted kitten" Jiang Yi had an online boyfriend, and they were about to meet in person. But today the student council president had called her in to do club work, and she was exhausted as a cow. Jiang Yi was a campus celebrity: not only was she beautiful, bright, and outgoing, with a huge social circle, she was also the student council vice president. Jiang Yi: I must've committed murder and arson in my past life to be stuck working under the president in this one :) Still, she was happy today, because she was finally going to exchange WeChat accounts with the dream guy she'd been dating online for three months. They'd even arranged a romantic date a month later. Could anything be better? Online boyfriend: "My WeChat ID is xxxxxx. Add me." Jiang Yi said cheerfully, "Okay!! Hang on, baby." She opened WeChat and entered the ID under New Friends. A familiar profile picture popped up. The button at the bottom didn't say "Add Friend." It said "Message." Jiang Yi froze. Then she saw the contact name she'd given this person... That Pain-in-the-Butt President. Jiang Yi: "..." ○ A university campus story. The male lead seems aloof and distant, but he's actually passive and easily teased into speechlessness. When he's dating the heroine online, he's clingy and adorable~ Also known as My Online Boyfriend Is That Aloof Student Council President at School A short story, most likely too short to be put behind a paywall. I'm giving it to everyone for free as a thank-you. Message: Just have fun.
