His amber eyes fix on her, his lazy tone edged with mischief:
"You're watching so intently. Want to keep him company, too?"
Yinyue only shakes her head, pretending to be confused. With a short twig and the thin snow beneath the eaves, she writes a line:
"Can you take me with you?"
Lou Helian thought he had picked up a nuisance.
They say young ladies are difficult to please, but Su Yinyue adapts remarkably well.
The girl is as obedient as a kitten. She sits beneath the eaves watching him train, her eyes curved like a new moon through the swirling snow.
She is always quiet. Her joys and sorrows are kept hidden in a pair of clear eyes.
Just like her courtesy name, Zhaozhao.
Bright as the shining moon.
Lovely and pure, she can easily capture anyone's heart.
But no matter how lovely she is, she's still just a mute who can't speak.
