A monster awakens in another world. The moment it opens its eyes, it comes face-to-face with its fated mate. The little brat is less than a third as long as the monster's tail, full of tricks, and not cute at all. The monster, entirely focused on its ambitions, has no interest in the little brat and turns to leave.
As it turns out, you should never underestimate a brat, especially a clever one.
To make matters worse, the monster discovers that by day it turns into an idiot who does exactly what the little brat says.
Monster: Just let me die.
Dazai really is clever, and he really is a coward, too. Once he realizes that his little game has trapped him, he leaves without a moment's hesitation. As a result, the tail that had been wrapped around his waist winds up around his neck instead.
Dazai: Forgive me, forgive me.
