[RG Veda] Lackey

Indra was a soldier through and through: clear in his goals, decisive in action, and immaculate in appearance. His armor was always gleaming bright. He had a genius for judging music and poetry, and impeccable taste. Above all, he despised short, plump women and pregnant women. I still remember a joke he shared with Vaisravana: “Without women, all power and wealth would lose their meaning.” And his reply: “With power and wealth, all women lose their meaning.”
