[Crossover] I Was This Close to Winning Them Over

[Ex 2.0]

Qing Muze was an impatient gamer, too.

After repeatedly failing to win over a character from [Jujutsu Kaisen] in the romance game he had been playing lately, he decisively switched maps and chose one called [Detective Conan].

But the cold and heartless men there were just as hard to win over.

So impatient Qing Mu flew into a rage, killed his character, and deleted his account.

He registered for another game in the same series and switched to the no-feelings, rise-to-the-top route.

Then he discovered that all the people he had tried to win over were gathering around him, gazing at him with obsessive, inscrutable expressions.

"You remind me so much of someone I once knew." My lover.

Qing Muze didn't know that the only reason he thought he had failed to win them over was because he thought so.

#You were this close to winning them over, so why did you give up?!#

#Come back and keep trying to win me over already!#

Note: You win a character over when they say "I love you" to the player. But... some just can't bring themselves to say it, while others have a bad feeling that saying it will spell disaster, so they'd rather die than say it.

Additional note: This romance game has no affection meter, so Qing Mu doesn't know how much the people around him like him. He thinks those jerks don't like him much. (A creature with low emotional intelligence.)

One more note: Qing Mu thinks he's just friends/classmates/coworkers/enemies with those jerks. To those jerks, Qing Mu is their lover.

"I wanted to win you over, but for now I only see you as a bro. I never expected you to see me as your lover." And other such stories.
