Shi Xi always thought he was just the owner of a small antique shop, earning extra money by helping a certain librarian sort through an endless pile of books.
Until one day, a girl named Shen Yaqi opened a door for him that shouldn't have existed.
Only then did he discover that there was a whole other world behind that little door.
When Shen Yaqi took Shi Xi to meet the person in charge, Shi Xi was astonished to realize:

When Mu Zhe saw Shi Xi sharpening his claws at him, he wasn't angry.
He dropped the broken angel statue in his hand and went straight over, willingly letting himself get scratched. He thought, I've found my cat.
