[Tokyo Revengers] We Communicate Entirely Through Guesswork

OOC, first-person POV.

Original female protagonist x Matsuno Chifuyu

I'll try to keep it light and happy, with no one dying. The heroine's fighting ability is about the same as Terano South's. She can go toe to toe with Mikey, but can't hold out for long.

The heroine isn't very good at speaking Japanese, but she can write fluently to express herself. There will be a lot of inner monologue.

Since she can't express herself verbally, she usually lets her actions speak for her. If she can show what she means through her actions, she won't say much.

How the heroine communicates: "Shall we go to the new restaurant together after school today?" What she actually says: "We, today, together, eat?"

In her first year of middle school, the heroine is 170 cm tall. As an adult, she's 177 cm. I want her to look really strong.

I got the idea after seeing an MBTI analysis of the Tokyo Manji Gang.

I personally think Baji is an ENTP or ESTP, though he has a bit of INFJ in him too. Chifuyu is an INFJ or ENFP. They really complement each other. Especially in the anime, Chifuyu says that after spending so much time with Baji, he knows what Baji is going to do. If I have time, I might write about why I think this way. I'd also love to discuss it with everyone.

Going back to the idea: I wondered what it would be like if Chifuyu met a heroine who wasn't good at speaking Japanese. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they understood each other without words?

(It somehow ended up giving me Komi Can't Communicate vibes.)

Note: This story is long and slow to warm up. I like writing longfics, and there will be some anime spoilers, so anime-only fans, be warned.

I don't like rushing through my writing. I think carefully about every chapter. I try to put myself in the main characters' shoes and see what happens from their perspective. Sometimes I spend four or five hours writing three or four lines, decide I'm not satisfied, and delete them to start over. I also revise earlier chapters from time to time. Updates are pretty slow. I'm a stickler for settings and details, and researching takes a long time too. Thanks to everyone who supports me.
