In that turbulent interstellar age, a legend circulated among the people about the "Goddess of Fate."
As the youngest general in the interstellar frontier's vanguard forces, Cheng Kaiwen led his army in search of the Goddess of Fate's descendants. He accidentally stumbled into a hidden valley and clashed violently with the villagers.
The boy leading the people opposite him had beautiful, clear eyes and a sharp tongue that left Cheng Kaiwen speechless.
"Who are you?" he asked.
"I'm the village beauty." Xia Mingkai propped his chin on one hand and smiled as he stared down his opponent. "You aren't sincere at all. The Goddess's descendant would never want to meet you."
Cheng Kaiwen scoffed. The so-called Goddess of Fate was nothing more than a puppet-like spokesperson the military needed.
He was just following orders.
Hardship breeds troublemakers, and the prettier they are, the more unruly they get.
Especially when Cheng Kaiwen learned that the bizarre "village beauty" was actually the so-called Goddess of Fate's descendant. He found it even more ridiculous.
Foolish people always pinned their hopes on vague, fanciful legends.

A Western-fantasy-style interstellar fairy tale with supernatural elements. The pairing is Cheng Yiwen x Xia Mingkai. The protagonist is especially, spectacularly Mary Sue-like: a fiery sweetheart and spirit medium with a Disney princess (crossed out) druid setup.
The romantic feelings between the leads are extremely intense, especially the male lead's devotion to the protagonist, which has reached an almost reverent level. Don't ship XJ; there's no XJ to ship.
