[Western Crossover] The Secret Identity Takes Center Stage Among the Superheroes

Something went wrong with the barriers between worlds. A world that should have merged into the greater universe was instead flung out on its own, and the lives of most of its key figures had strayed from their intended paths.

Eterno, a rookie repair worker sent in to handle the emergency, was assigned to this universe.

His task was to raise the superheroes' profile in this world and create suitable public personas for them, giving them a new ideological life in the eyes of the public.

But...

The world Eterno arrived in was a peaceful Earth, with hardly any supervillains and no evil forces invading from beyond. There were no superpowers, advanced technology, or aliens here at all! How was he supposed to make their personas stick? Was he meant to stage a cosmic crisis and invent a batch of villains himself?

After much pondering, he realized that public figures were the easiest people to build a persona around, so Eterno decided to make his debut on the spot using secret identities.

And so, Earth gained...

Brucie, a rich second-generation single dad who spent money like water making TV dramas;

Barry, who conquered the food-streaming world and shot straight to the top;

Toni, a crafting guru whose every controversy drew a storm of attention, with one hater worth ten fans;

Peter, who shot to fame on talk shows and variety programs thanks to his nonstop chatter;

Then, while Eterno was using his Brucie secret identity to sing the theme song for the Dark Knight series he starred in, a man wearing his underwear on the outside fell out of the sky at his concert, grabbed his hand, and asked in a panic:

“B! Have you been brainwashed?”

Meanwhile, more and more key figures from other worlds began falling through the hole. They somehow developed a shared conspiracy-theory mindset and became convinced that this world was about to collapse. They eagerly pitched in to help, causing ordinary people's trending topics to blow up again and again.

Eterno: ...OMG.

The timeline is the author's own. There is quite a bit of setup, and the events described in the blurb will happen after the story is halfway through.
