Wen Zhiwen transmigrated into a novel set in a bygone era.

The heroine in the book was understanding and considerate. After marrying, she gave birth to three sons, could host guests in the living room and cook in the kitchen, raised well-behaved children, and wholeheartedly supported her husband's career. Her happy family was celebrated as an exemplary couple in the residential compound.

By contrast, Wen Zhiwen was spoiled and difficult, and only through sheer luck had she married Yu Huaiyan, the compound's most eligible bachelor.

Even so, Wen Zhiwen was never satisfied.

Before he could finish, Wen Zhiwen cut him off, taking his hand and saying earnestly, "Don't worry, I absolutely won't bother you!"

A husband who's rich but never comes home? That's the dream!

And so Wen Zhiwen happily began her life of doing absolutely nothing

While the heroine got up at the crack of dawn to cook for the whole family, Wen Zhiwen slept in.

While the heroine was driven to distraction by her three sons, Wen Zhiwen happily went shopping at the newly opened mall without looking at the prices.

While the heroine dutifully cared for her drunken husband, Wen Zhiwen drove around in a Santana, a brick phone in hand...

The heroine: What the hell! Which one of us is supposed to be the foil?!

Watching her husband come home more and more often, Wen Zhiwen fell into deep thought:

I thought you didn't like coming home!

Wait, don't come over here!
