The Billionaire's Farming Life

[Complete] Shi He won the lottery. It wasn't much, just five hundred million. He couldn't spend it all in this lifetime. The interest on his savings alone would earn Shi He 1.05 million a year. He became a nouveau riche overnight, quit his job, and bought a house and a villa. He devoted himself to rescuing stray animals, getting them all fixed. A poor stray dog with wire wrapped around its neck: rescued, and neutered while they were at it. A group of late-flying wild geese heading south: taken in. A cat that showed up asking to be adopted: welcomed. A weasel with its foot caught in a trap: rescued. A clueless hedgehog that kept running into cars: caught. Before long, the little animals Shi He had rescued filled the entire villa. Shi He waved his hand grandly. "I've got plenty of money!" He simply bought a barren mountain that no one wanted. It was lush with trees and had a pleasant environment, and came with dozens of acres of wasteland. Packing up all his belongings, Shi He moved in with a long train of furry and spiky companions. The dogs ran and rolled around freely, the cats roamed all over the mountain, the weasels dug burrows and settled down, and the geese recovered and rejoined their flock. Even the strays from the surrounding area learned that Shi He was a "rich man" and came over to beg for food with adorable, pleading faces. Life was wonderfully comfortable, raising cats, dogs, and all sorts of little animals. The large fields were going to waste, so Shi He put his old skills to use and started clearing land for farming. During the farming off-season, Shi He surfed the internet at 6G speeds and came across a livestream for a high-quality domestic brand that no one was paying attention to. Wanting to support domestic brands, Shi He bought shares in a few green energy companies. When he checked again some time later, why had all the stocks he'd bought turned red? And when had several companies on the brink of bankruptcy climbed into the national top 100? Shi He went from being a billionaire to a trillionaire in the blink of an eye! "Huh? Why does my money keep growing?" He had so much money he could never spend it all. What a headache! Rich people's troubles really were that simple.
