Faced with an entirely new world, the new savior couldn't help but slap themself twice in their heart. Why did I have to run my mouth?

Honkai is a test of civilization set by the will of the universe. The more human civilization develops, the stronger the Will of Honkai becomes.

The Herrschers, as agents of the Will of Honkai, are both apostles of the God of Honkai and nothing more than a few handy tools in its grasp.

But in the boundless universe, among countless parallel worlds that are alike yet different, there are always a few unique souls whose light shines so brightly that even the Will of Honkai finds it dazzling.

And God wants that light to endure forever beneath his might.

[Herrscher of Corruption]

The Twelfth Honkai erupted in Yokohama. A girl with cherry-blossom-pink hair took the hands of the person she loved and solemnly vowed:

"So that the same tragedy will never happen to us again, I will act in humanity's place and eradicate all evil in the world, so that the person I love and I can live freely beneath the sun."

[Herrscher of Thunder]

After being caught up in a cursed spirit attack, the Herrscher looked at a girl who, like she once had, longed to be saved, and made her promise.

"As long as you still want to live, I will clear away every obstacle for you and bring you back to the light."

[Herrscher of the Void]

An exhibition and auction of mysterious gems drew everyone who coveted the immortal gem, "Pandora."

But they had no idea what sort of terrible disaster awaited them.

"No matter where you go, humans, your ugly desires disgust me. Now, you will pay for this offense with your blood."

[Herrscher of Domination]

"We are the weakest Herrschers, and we are also the strongest Herrschers."

"We crossed the sea of stars to come here for one reason only: to keep Honkai from destroying the world we love again."

"So, heroes of this world, answer us: are you willing to offer up your nobility in exchange for the embrace of the entire world?"

Even though we are no longer human, we are willing to become a torch to guide humanity toward the future, leading the ark of free will into the next age.

1. This is a fanfic the author wrote for fun. Some characters may be out of character to some degree. No writing advice, please. If you don't like it, click away.

2. Most of the characters are from Honkai Impact 3rd. Genshin Impact characters will appear, but the story has basically nothing to do with Genshin Impact's plot.
