Inside a twisted fairy tale, everyone else fought with all their might, trying to escape. Lin Aowei analyzed the tale's symbolism and contradictions, solved it with ease, and turned the tables on the sorcerer.

Put on trial as a heretical witch, everyone else desperately tried to prove their innocence. Lin Aowei pointed at the chief judge. "You've got a huge mole below your neck. That's a witch's mark! You're accusing others of what you're guilty of!"

Faced with a terrifying vampire, everyone else brought holy water and garlic to drive it away. Lin Aowei quietly hid off to one side, calmly analyzed the vampire's family tree, then found the cluster of coffins belonging to the vampire family on a scorching sunny day and burned them all to ashes.

By surviving one day at a time, Lin Aowei not only made it through unscathed, but also accidentally achieved her goal from her previous life: becoming a folklore professor and a world-famous scholar.

And then there were the things she had never wanted to become: a top sorcerer, the leader of the strongest secret society of heretics, and a sealed-god imprisoner.

An accident left Xu Zhi temporarily blind. Thanks to her parents' devoted care, she recovered quickly. Just before she was about to see again, a line of blood-red rules suddenly appeared in her mind.

Xu Zhi was about to tell her parents they should take her for another brain scan when her bedroom door opened and two paper dolls appeared in the doorway.

"Sweetheart, dinner's ready," said one paper doll, in a voice that sounded just like her father's.

"We've got noodles with lamb liver and dumplings," said the other, in a voice that sounded just like her mother's.

"Father" held a bowl filled with a heap of writhing, tangled creatures, along with chunks of suspicious tissue covered in tentacle suckers. "Mother" held a porcelain plate covered with tiny toads, each with strange suckers growing on its body.

Xu Zhi: !

The red rules appeared in her mind once more:

[Don't eat the food "they" give you, or you'll become one of them.]

[If you refuse their food three times in a row, "they" will grow suspicious and force-feed you.]

[Escape this contaminated zone before the blood-red moon rises.]

[If you're still in the contaminated zone, you must find shelter before the blood-red moon rises. Whatever you do, don't let the moonlight touch you.]

It turned out that the world had long since been invaded by "them" and "Those Ones," leaving it chaotic and evil, with strange occurrences everywhere.

Fortunately, she could see the rules written in red and safely survive one terrifying paranormal incident after another.

What she hadn't expected was that as she used the rules to slowly set a world on the brink of collapse right again, she would gradually become a revered deity.

False Rumors Clarified:

1. This is nothing like that certain hu. The opening came from a dream the author had, and the later plot is even more different.

2. The heroine calls herself Mr. Haizhu for a reason. You'll understand after the third instance. Don't read too much into the extreme-right stuff.
