The Retired Arbiter's Daily Life

Original male lead x Natsume

[Blurb One]

After nearly a century of fighting, the Time Retrograde Army was defeated, and Asagami Senji, who served the Time Government, finally obtained his retirement permit.

What he didn't expect was that his boss had already arranged a home and school enrollment papers in the present world overnight, determined to make up for the youth his outstanding employee had lost.

Asagami Senji: Whatever makes you happy.

And so, the elite Sword Master, who could handle paperwork with both hands and take on enemy troops with a blade, picked up a schoolbag and experienced the school life he'd missed out on.

Apart from occasionally clearing out the remnants of the Time Retrograde Army, praying for people plagued by oddities, or rescuing passersby who had wandered into the twilight... and other such small favors, Asagami Senji's daily life wasn't much different from that of an ordinary high school student.

At least, that's what he thought.

[Blurb Two]

Natsume Takashi, who was constantly attacked by yokai, vaguely remembered a gentle young man in white robes whose face was covered by a paper mask. He had met him when he was very young.

Natsume didn't know the man's name, age, or address, but he could see yokai too, and patiently listened to Natsume talk. The time they spent together was one of the few happy memories from Natsume's childhood.

Then one day, Natsume discovered that the seemingly all-powerful big brother was a transfer student in the class next door.
