The Wrongfully Dead: A Substitute's Game [Infinite]

My best friend pushed me off a cliff, and I arrived in the City of Wrongful Death and Substitution.

There is only one kind of person in this city: those who died unjustly.

Everyone here shares the same goal: to take another's place in death and return to life.

Make the deeply sinful take their place in death, and let those who died with grievances return to life.

For this one goal, the wrongfully dead throw themselves again and again into shattered worlds, completing all kinds of dangerous missions.

Some succeed, but many more are left forever in absurd, eerie mission worlds, never to be reborn.

I never expected to meet him in the City of Wrongful Death and Substitution, much less that he had arrived in this world before me.

If he was already here, then who was the person who killed me?

I began searching for the truth.

As the veils of lies were lifted, layer by layer, I discovered that this so-called cycle of substitution and rebirth wasn't karma ensuring that good and evil were repaid. It was a wicked game that toyed with human nature.
