Who in Their Right Mind Believes in Infinite Flow? [Infinite Flow]

The materialist Shang Xiulin expressed extreme skepticism the first time he heard about infinite-flow stories.

But the very next day after saying he didn't believe in them, he encountered some strange things.

Seeing the elevator suddenly lose a floor, then inexplicably fix itself a second later,

Shang Xiulin called the property management office.

"Hello, the elevator's broken. Please come fix it."

Seeing an eyeball suddenly fall out from under his bed,

Shang Xiulin picked it up and tossed it in the trash, grumbling that some relative's brat had barged into his room again and pulled the eye off a toy.

Seeing a dark shadow flash past behind him in the mirror,

Shang Xiulin rubbed his eyes.

"Eye floaters?"

Until one day, he woke up, drew back the curtains, and saw dark clouds blotting out the sun. A huge, indescribable, octopus-like thing had appeared right outside his window.

He still thought he hadn't woken up properly.

But... can someone tell him why that thing was still there after he'd slept?

His childhood friend from next door leisurely leaned against the doorframe and held out a hand to Jiang Xiulin, trying to take advantage of the situation.

"Want to marry me? I'll kill everything in our way."

"If I'm the one killing everything, then how about you marry me?"

"Look, maybe we should focus on staying alive first." His younger sister looked utterly baffled. You two want romance more than you want to live, huh?

It looks like an ordinary person navigating deadly challenges, except the protagonist's thought process is a little unusual.
