The Hour of Heroes: Rain, Stillness, and Flying Dust

P.S. After watching the TV series Heroes, I felt especially sorry for Bai Choufei. He certainly has his hateful side, but he is also a tragic character, and that inspired me to write this story. A few things to clarify upfront:

1. This is fanfiction based on the TV version of Heroes, featuring Bai Choufei. Fans of the original novel are welcome to read, but if you don’t like it, there’s no pressure.

2. The inspiration and some of the plot come from the TV series. The female lead’s perspective includes a lot of original background material, and the plot goes off on its own, diverging from both the novel and the show. The characters draw on both versions, as well as my own interpretations and imagination. Some parts may be out of character. Please understand: there are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand readers’ minds, and this is simply my interpretation.

If you’re fine with all of the above, welcome! This story focuses on redemption. It’s mostly sweet, with at most a little bittersweet drama, and it has a happy ending.
