Don't Use Sci-Fi Settings for a Fanfiction Plot!

System: Your ability is "Making Sci-Fi Concepts Real." You’ve landed in the high-risk world of Hunter x Hunter. You understand what I mean, right?

Lin He: We’ll use science to defeat Nen Ability!

If the story starts in Meteor City

System: So that’s why you used "Toward the Terra" to farm and "The Round Soap Bubble" to make it rain and transform Meteor City?

Lin He: Well, the Chinese knack for farming is written into our DNA. Can’t help it.

Main story

System: How did "OK, Gloria" evolve into a super AI?

Lin He: It was in the original! It was definitely mentioned in the original!

System: How did you get the nickname "Walking Natural Disaster"?

Lin He: Would you believe me if I said it was the butterfly effect?

System: The butterfly effect in "Chaos Butterfly" can cause earthquakes?

Lin He: (Pointing fingers together) There’s also "Critical Point: Low-Intensity Arson."

System: I might not be human, but you really are a menace.

System: Just tell me everything else you’ve done.

Lin He: I got stuck in the ant arc, so I got mad and planned to use "Cretaceous Tales" to destroy the world.

System: (Forcing composure) Why?

Lin He: Dinosaurs and ants are natural enemies, balancing each other out, and the species that ultimately survives is humanity. [Absolutely certain]

System: (Gasping) Get the respirator!!!

Lin He: Then someone prophesied that I’d do it, so I didn’t get the chance.

System: Good. Don’t pull any stunts...

Lin He: Then in my second run, I used the Water Drop.

System: ...

The System’s avatar trembled as it hovered over the unbinding control key.

Lin He: (Smiling ingratiatingly) At least the ants made it through, right?

Later

System: At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if you came up with something like ball lightning or time travel.

Lin He: (Pulling out a quantum rose) Hmm?

[Reader Advisory]

1. Updates whenever I can! I’ll update more often if there are comments~

2. The original blurb wouldn’t fit, so check out the first chapter!

For now, I’ve only thought of the Hunter x Hunter storyline. This is the product of recently getting hooked on Hunter x Hunter.

3. No pairing for now. I’ll see where the story goes.

4. The blurbs mention tropes I plan to write (the new version was added on August 16), but I’m not sure which chapters they’ll appear in.

Theme: Science and technology are the primary productive forces
