Following current convention, here are the warnings:
A gentle, saintly, beautiful, strong, tragic, and sickly emperor hero × a lively, chatty, adorable, growing empress heroine.
1. One-on-one romance, both are each other's first and only. Sweet doting romance with a touch of an upbringing dynamic. Only the hero suffers, never the heroine. The heroine gets no more than a few scratches, and the hero is heartbroken over even that.
2. They communicate openly, misunderstandings are brief, and they make up quickly.
3. A classic wuxia style, with fight scenes, supporting characters shining, and family and friendship.
4. The main storyline focuses more on the plot than the romance. The leads do more than fall in love: they build careers and break through impasses.
5. No secondary couples and no forced pairings. The hero is a total heartthrob, and everyone loves him in one way or another: romantically, as family, with admiration, or as a friend.
6. Although they marry midway through the story, the lights only go out near the end of the main text. Descriptions stay above the neck.
7. If you don't read the side story called Stillness, this is a pure happy ending, a sweet and sugary love story, absolutely not a bait and switch.
8. The above describes the new edition, which has been updated. Please refer to the new edition. The author accepts no responsibility for, and will not respond to, any discussion or distribution of the old edition.
9. The new edition does not use any original plotlines or elements from the TV adaptation. It is an independent revision based on the original novel. This is hereby stated for the record.
Theme: Though the rivers and mountains may pass, love endures forever.
