Zhao Youyao, Grand Princess of the Gun Kingdom (1060-1084), was the eleventh daughter of Emperor Renzong of Song, Zhao Zhen, and Consort Feng. In 1066, the sixth year of the Jiayou era, she was granted the title Princess Yongshou, later elevated to Grand Princess Rong. In 1067, the fourth year of Emperor Yingzong's reign, she was elevated to Grand Princess of Bin. In 1076, the ninth year of Emperor Shenzong's reign, her title was changed to Grand Princess of Lu. She married Cao Shi, a Senior General of the Left Guard. The princess was frugal by nature and made no additions or improvements to her ponds, terraces, gardens, or parks. During a drought in the summer of her tenth year, the Cao family prepared an elaborate birthday celebration for her. The princess said, "His Majesty has cut back on meals and dispensed with music. How could I possibly feel at ease?" She had it all canceled.
The princess died in 1084, the sixth year of the Yuanfeng era under Emperor Shenzong, at just twenty-four years old. She was posthumously named Grand Princess of Jing, with the posthumous title Xianyi. Her two sons, Cao Ye and Cao Min, were both promoted to Regiment Training Commissioners. Emperor Huizong later posthumously named her Grand Princess of Gun, then changed her title to Grand Imperial Princess Xianyi Gongmu.
In 1422, the third year of Emperor Chengzu's Yongle era, Zhao Youyao, the eleventh daughter of Emperor Renzong of Song, whose posthumous title was Xianyi, awoke after sleeping beneath the earth for more than three hundred years, roused by fresh blood. Thus began her long journey of ten thousand li, from a mindless zombie who drank blood on instinct to an advanced zombie who could consciously choose when to drink.
It turned out that death did not truly mean the end. One might instead begin an even more difficult journey.
A note to readers: This story was on hiatus for a long time because of work. I had planned out the plot earlier, but now I can barely piece much of it together (I don't outline or draft before writing). Some of the material requires me to revisit certain manga and anime before I can remember it, so updates are paused for now. I'll continue once I've sorted out my thoughts.
I keep seeing what the authors are saying about not being shut down by editors in Little Black Room. I don't understand. I only know that there is a writing software called Little Black Room. Can anyone explain it to me?
