Once upon a time, there was a high school student who was sick of everything. School life was so boring that, on a whim, he decided to read about handsome men turning into tigers, and that was how the original version of this novel came to be. But after the final exams, the school insisted on keeping the students there for four days, and that's how this novel came to be.
An alternate-history setting. The Five Provinces are governed by families representing the five elements of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. Fire rules the Southern Province, wood the Eastern Province, metal the Western Province, water the Northern Province, and earth the Central Province. The metal family name is Kui, the water family name is Kui, the wood family name is Yi, the fire family name is Sima, and the earth family name is Yan.
Theme: An immortal old man observes all the different aspects of the world.
