Blurb:
Sweet romance | Childhood friends | Reunited lovers
A princess who charges into the heart of power X a gentle, humble minister
1.
She gave him purple robes and a jade belt; he helped her become the supreme ruler.
Once childhood sweethearts, now sovereign and minister at court.
Xie Heng still remembered how the beauty had once fallen drunkenly into his arms, sweet and adorable. Now, looking at her seated steadily upon the throne, he admired her, yet still loved her.
One day after the morning court session, Gao Yi sent someone to summon Xie Heng to the Hall of Diligent Governance. Sitting upright with a solemn expression, she said, "Lord Xie, you work so hard. You have so many important duties every day, as well as morning court. Why not start staying in the palace from today onward?"
Xie Heng smiled. "I would be honored."
2.
Gao Yi and Xie Heng had very different first impressions of each other.
Gao Yi first met Xie Heng at the Imperial Academy. She was smitten by his diligence and graceful manner. Most importantly, he was gentle and patient, and knew how to cheer people up.
Xie Heng first met Gao Yi at the Lantern Festival banquet in the palace. The Crown Prince had been punished, and Gao Yi, as a princess, was punished along with him. Prince Qi flew into a rage, but amid the bitter wind and rain, the frail girl refused to back down.
Perhaps that first glance was what made him vow that, no matter what circumstances they faced, he would stay by her side.
When they were young and innocent, Xie Heng studied with her, went on outings with her, and admired lanterns together.
When they reconciled, Xie Heng knew that what she sought was the supreme throne. Even so, he tugged at Gao Yi's sleeve and said in a gentle, plaintive voice, "I'll be with you."
The court was a storm of power struggles and rivalries. Brothers turned against one another, and countless families were torn apart. Yet two people stood by each other, supporting one another and never parting.
Their promise to each other was simple: "I will always be by your side."
1. One-on-one romance, happy ending.
2. An alternate-world setting. No historical accuracy, plenty of author-created details, and only a little political intrigue. The clothing descriptions may be a chaotic mix of styles, so please be understanding. (Bows)
3. The events in the first blurb take place at the end.
Blurb for Refusing the Future Crown Prince Again and Again:
1.
After being reborn, Gu Qingci finally understood that Gu Zhanghe might look gentle and refined, but he was a ruthless man who had clawed his way out of a pile of corpses.
In the fifth year of Jian Ning, at thirteen, he had endured a terrifying famine. He escaped a village where people had been driven to eat their own children and fled to the home of the powerful Gu family in the capital.
He was dependent on others, powerless and without influence, yet still possessed an extraordinary air.
Princess Zhaohua, Gu Qingci, was drawn to this cousin. He had been born in hell but refused to sink into depravity, struggling to move forward. She thought she should help him.
But her help only dragged her into a fate worse than death. After she drank that bowl of "life-ending soup," Gu Zhanghe became emperor, while she was left a wandering ghost.
Back at seventeen, Gu Qingci was still the glorious Princess Zhaohua. The pain of those years felt like nothing more than a dream.
Gu Zhanghe was as he had always been, concealing his ambition and pretending to be the refined gentleman she liked best. He still gently called her "Cousin Princess."
Gu Qingci played along with him while ruthlessly cutting off his path to a seat in the cabinet.
"This time, I'll destroy you with my own hands."
2.
Third Prince Pei Xunqing had recently been riding high on one happy occasion after another.
For his first happy occasion, he rescued the innocent Gu Qingci after she fell into the water at the Zhou family's engagement banquet. He called her "Elder Sister Princess," leaving her stunned and making sure she would remember him.
For his second, he pretended to be foolish and played innocent, acting as though he didn't understand Gu Qingci's coded hint to beware of Gu Zhanghe. This earned him a little more time with the princess.
For his third, he visited Gu Qingci while she was ill and got into an argument with that cheap cousin of his. The princess not only didn't blame him, she even defended him.
For his fourth, he invited Gu Qingci to admire the autumn maples, and she agreed.
For his fifth, he finally became someone who could walk side by side with Princess Zhaohua.
Theme: Become a better version of yourself
What! How did you know this secret?! How do you know... You who opened this comment are the cutest! Then, you who are so cute, can you please collect my serialized article "Wen Shu" (a fake couple reunited after a reunion) and the pre-collection article "Rejecting the Future Prince Many Times" (the second male lead in literature, the second male lead of Bai Qie Black and Green Tea × the female protagonist of Bai Qie Bai Qie Hei)? (Star Eyes) (Please, please) (muamua)
It will be updated today. I am currently coding the last chapter like crazy. I don't expect to finish it in less than 5,000 words. I will definitely write it out today.
I want to see the extra story. Is it about Gao Song or after marriage?
It's great, can't wait for the next chapter!
I thought the queen was a good person, how disgusting [rolls eyes] The Zhao family is not a good person
It's so pretty! It's so pretty! 🤩🤩🤩
Thanks for the limited exemption. It's well written. Although there are still some shortcomings in some places, the overall flaws are not concealed (I'm really sorry, my expressive skills are poor and I can't give specific suggestions). But I really think the first book is written like this.
Thank you for the free limited edition, it's great!!!
OK!! (Waving) (shaking head)
Both pairs of cps are very good~
