The author came down with COVID while still recovering, and the lingering effects have dragged on without getting better. Something has also come up at home. My current health and real-life circumstances only allow for irregular updates, though I'll try to post weekly. I'm very sorry, and very grateful to everyone who continues to support me.
Updates resume next week.
Next novel: I Transmigrated as a Villainess and Got a Happy Ending with the Heroine. If you're interested, please add it to your favorites.
This clumsy author is terrible at writing blurbs. If you're passing by, don't miss it. Maybe it'll be just your thing?
Official blurb:
Lu Qiuyang is a natural-born spirit child. A high school student living alone, she does odd jobs for the Underworld to earn merit and money for living expenses. Her life is plain and peaceful, neither good nor bad.
One day, a strange Grim Reaper with a quirky style suddenly barges into her home. This Grim Reaper is flippant and irreverent, always making outrageous claims and dancing on Lu Qiuyang's last nerve. But as much as this ghost courts trouble, she's simply too beautiful.
What can Lu Qiuyang do?
As a hopeless admirer of pretty faces, she decides she can only forgive her.
Because of a little carrot, Qingyi's world was filled with sunshine.
After thousands of years of an ordinary, dull existence, she felt the warmth of an embrace beneath the sun for the first time.
To protect her little sun, Qingyi broke the Grim Reaper's rules and intervened in the mortal world, saving Lu Qiuyang.
Even if it meant being cast into the Nineteenth Hell forever and tormented day and night by hellfire, she had no regrets. All she wanted was for her little sun to live a safe and happy life. But when she finally returned to the mortal world, her little sun had already forgotten her.
It doesn't matter. There's no need to search for what happened in the past. Cherish the present and seek the future together.

Excerpt:
Lu Qiuyang turned her head and saw the face twist into a wide grin. Its mouth split open at the corners, stretching wider and wider.
Blood mixed with brain matter oozed from its eye sockets, red, white, and black all jumbled together. Its mouth stretched down to its neck, and half its head dangled from its neck by a thin flap of skin, swaying as if it might fall off at any moment. Peering into its gaping maw, she could just make out its dark, rotting innards.
She stared for two seconds and blinked. One hand pressed down on the ghost's skull. While the female ghost was still stunned, she shoved her right back into the wall...
