Shen Yan was born a slave, and his looks bore a passing resemblance to Wen Yilan. The scions of noble families treated him as Wen Yilan's substitute.
Everything they didn't dare do to that esteemed man, Shen Yan had to endure in his place.
After a while, Shen Yan couldn't take it anymore.
He did the most defiant thing of his life: right in front of those powerful nobles, he said that he had slept with Wen Yilan.
At the time, Wen Yilan happened to be standing behind him.
That was how they first met, in this wretched and disgusting scene.
