A talkative demon lord with a surprising side, as the bottom × an aloof, refined, tsundere musician, as the top
To maintain balance in the world, Demon Lord Bai Juanting was persuaded by a villain to attack the Tianyin Sect on Tianyin Mountain. Betrayed by his subordinate and stabbed in the back, his soul was split from his body, and his physical form was lost. Forced to hide inside the zither of the Tianyin Lord, Yin Li, he had no idea that a conspiracy was silently unfolding.
A little sunshine along the road to revenge would be nice. Might as well take the Tianyin Lord with him, too.
Where did the Demon Lord go? Why hasn't he returned?
Don't bother looking. The Demon Lord ran off with someone!
Tianyin Lord: Bai Liao, your zither playing is absolutely awful.
Some Demon Lord: Who do you think I'm playing for?! How can you hurt my feelings like this?
Tianyin Lord: What do you know about art?
Some Demon Lord: Then sleep by yourself tonight!
Some Demon Lord: If you stop being the Tianyin Lord and I stop being the Great Demon Lord, we can live like an ordinary human couple and stay together forever. What do you say?
Tianyin Lord: Whatever you want.
All living beings share in suffering. Our fates are alike, so there's no need to belittle yourself.
“The snow in Bodhi Town has been unusually heavy this year.”
“It's a gift from the Di Lord.”
She speaks against her heart, yet loves deeply. She is destined to be alone in this life. Her name is Qianjixue.
As snow fell thick and fast, the army of the dead cried out, “We bid the Di Lord farewell!”
The beauty turned into a snowflake butterfly, dancing through the human world, never to be heard from again.
People say, “This is the Di Lord's final gift to mortals.”
Di Lord: Then you may as well treat me as a statue.
Your eyes and brows look so much like your father's.
I can rest easy entrusting Qianji to you.
The Tianyin Lord and the Demon Lord are devoted to each other. How rare.
Once I leave, I fear I won't be able to return.
