After the operation, Shen Li stared blankly at the figure walking away with his back straight, one hand against the wall despite his trembling legs. He scoffed at how such a delicate intersex could be so stubborn.

Yet this was also the very intersex who had cherished him above all else when he was in love, then abandoned him and vanished without a trace when they broke up.
