But leaves always sprouted from its head. If they were secretly snipped off along with its tentacles, they would grow back. It was designated 007 at the containment facility, so "Father" jokingly gave it the name Ye Qi.
There were only seven S-rank contained beings at the facility. The little monster had five older brothers and one younger brother.
One day, the containment facility was attacked, and "Father" took the little monster away in a bottle. When it opened its eyes again, a thousand years had passed.
Humanity had established a new order after the apocalypse.
...So where were its father and brothers? To find its "Father" and "brothers," the little monster set off on a new journey.
