Itachi and Sasuke, Torn Between Them (Abandoned Draft)

The road goes on endlessly, but your shadow remains out of reach. Sasuke, in this life, it seems we are destined to share little in fate, though we know each other deeply. If time could flow backward, I would hold your hand tightly and live or die with you through the Uchiha clan's war to seize power. If your growth must be accompanied by the baptism of death, then let me die. Let me die before you, so that you will still remember my kindness.
