Ai Lan had been an ordinary office worker who had just started her career. Then she transmigrated to another world and became a homeowner, with a detached house right in the city center. That would have been great, if not for the tens of thousands of zombies surrounding it.
Just as Ai Lan was wondering whether she should charge in and become one of them, she was bound to the Wasteland Online Shop System.
What? Wasteland? Online shop? She knew what each of those words meant on its own, but she couldn't make sense of how a wasteland and an online shop could go together.
System: Growing plants can hold back the zombie hordes. Plant seeds can be exchanged for the light of sunflowers. Each five-star review earns you one sunflower seed.
Ai Lan: If you said it was Plants vs. Zombies: Online Shop Edition, I would've understood.
On a desolate, barren continent shrouded in gloom, a tiny online shop suddenly appeared. There, you could buy any supplies you needed. No matter where you were, your order would be delivered safely. Every package it sent carried a familiar, comforting scent of sunshine, one that people found utterly irresistible.
Ai Lan (smiling): Dear customer, your order has been delivered. Don't forget to leave a five-star review!
[Five-Star Review Rebate Card: Leave a five-star review after confirming receipt, and use this card on your next purchase to get one extra little potato.]
Xi Mu, humanity's strongest, commander-in-chief of a certain safety base, and a potato-hating species: Tear it up.
Theme: Live optimistically and strive to improve. Everyone has a bright future.
