"You actually..." Kunikida shook Dazai by the collar in anger.

"Wait, stop, Kunikida-kun!" Baiyin rushed over to save the day. "You've got it wrong. They're my and my brother's older clan sisters."

"Huh?"

"Hehe, I told you, Kunikida-kun, don't get angry. Look at the Port Mafia boss. Getting angry all the time is what made his hairline recede~"

Some rambling:

1. I started writing this because I can't stand people who like to make green-Dazai jokes, use tired jokes about beating Dazai, write chase-your-wife-to-the-crematorium plots, or trample all over him without a care. I wanted to write a story where Dazai fans dote on him and show my love for Mr. Dazai.

2. Some out-of-character portrayals are inevitable, since this is how I see Mr. Dazai, and my view is bound to differ from other people's. But I hope you'll get to know Mr. Dazai through the original work, not through fanfiction that's extremely out of character despite using his name. Don't assume he's like that just because fanfiction portrays him that way, and then insult him for it.

3. Dazai fans dote on Dazai; they don't beat him. Keep that in mind. If you say, "I'm a Dazai fan, but I laugh like a Dazai anti," admit it: you're a Dazai anti. Some jokes change as they're repeated and spread, and can become tools for people to hurt him.

4. Bungo Stray Dogs isn't a BL series, and there are no canon pairings. Shipping is up to you, but please don't force your ships on others.

5. This story also debunks some widely circulated misinformation, mainly about Dazai. This man has been treated terribly by all kinds of strange fanfiction.
