"Once upon a time, in a beautiful castle covered in flowers, there lived a lovely princess and a handsome prince, as well as a queen. But the queen was the prince and princess's stepmother. The queen decreed that the lights had to be out and everyone in bed by one in the morning, or else!..." The girl's pale face grew even whiter, as if the description had frightened her. Then something unexpected happened. Just as she turned to the last page of the book (because she liked reading the beginning and the ending), who would have guessed it!
A huge bloody handprint suddenly appeared, scaring the girl so badly that she dropped the book. At the same time, a crooked bolt of lightning flashed like a silver snake. The girl clutched her head, dove under the covers, and trembled.
Without warning, rain poured down on the earth. The wind forced its way through the crack in the door, wailing like a ghost! The girl was both frightened and curious. At last, she poked her little head out from under the covers. This was the moment to witness a miracle... (The author gets pelted with bricks and dies!) The book on the floor was standing upright on top of her blanket, its bloody handprint horrifying to behold! Beneath it were a few tiny words: "Those who read the ending first will die," a grudge from the author, Big Sister Xiaohua.
I'm Juhua, and Juhua is me. This story has moved over to Juhua Luo. But I'll only continue writing it after The Thief from Long Ago is finished. Readers, you're welcome to keep following along.
Mrs. Hua sat down with satisfaction and took out the powder from the mink bag to touch up her makeup. The description is exquisite and nuanced.
