A Chef Changes Careers in the Insectoid World

I've Already Decided to Lie Flat, Okay?

A laid-back, lie-flat mage x a sunny, big black dog beastman

This is the story of A Tang, a chef who spent years working hard to master his craft, only to transmigrate just as he was about to start his new job and be forced to change careers.

This is the story of Ruo Bai, a soldier who risked his life and fought for his country, then returned home after victory and changed careers after leaving the military.

This is the story of many ordinary, unremarkable little people.

It's also the story of how the author originally planned to write about a protagonist transmigrating into the insect race and dominating everyone, but somehow ended up with a genuinely "too sweet" little treat.

Reading guide:

A Tang: A male with decent cooking skills, an optimistic outlook, and not a penny to his name.

Ruo Bai: A female with quick reflexes, a cool exterior and a warm heart, and more money than he knows what to do with.

Theme: Even an ordinary job can lead to extraordinary achievements.
