She still remembered her promise to her brother Miquella: to become his undefeated blade. And she still remembered that the voice whispering in her ear was the Scarlet Rot Outer God. She couldn't let it have its way and spread the Rot across this land.
Until she awoke once more, given the name King of Curses. In that instant, Malenia felt fear, because she couldn't remember whether she had bloomed on this unfamiliar land.
"So Ryomen Sukuna doesn't want to come out?" The excited Gojo Satoru swayed and bobbed like a locust that had been electrocuted.
"No. She says she's not Ryomen Sukuna..."
Yuji Itadori could hear the woman's voice, calm on the surface but strained beneath, and spoke up in Malenia's place, though she had no wish to appear.
"She's Malenia, the Blade of Miquella."
"I am Malenia, the Blade of Miquella."
