Because of health problems, Xu Fei missed an entire semester and a half of his first year of high school. During winter break, just after being discharged from the hospital, he said goodbye to his parents and went for a walk near the school. He happened to see older students extorting money from him, and Xie Chenxi stepped in to help. They spent more than two years together and fell in love, but they separated in their senior year because Xie Chenxi was going abroad to study.
