Black-Bellied Cold Palace Princess x Calculating Empress Dowager
/
All Chu Wu knew was that her mother hated the Empress Dowager with all her heart.
She never imagined that after the late emperor's death, the Empress Dowager would personally raise her to the throne as empress.
It was unprecedented, and the world was shaken.
Everyone praised the current empress as brilliant and peerless.
But behind the palace's high walls, they knew that power had never been hers to wield.
Born in the Cold Palace and accustomed to life's fickle fortunes, Chu Wu knew that this world was full of things beyond one's control.
The Bodhisattva is merciful, yet only watches coldly from the sidelines.

1. Fake incest, no blood relation. Ten-year age gap.
2. Both leads are each other's only partners.
3. Quotes “The Bodhisattva lowers their eyes, the Vajra glares in anger,” from Qing Ye Zhong.
4. An alternate-universe setting with no real-life basis or allusions. I'm not an expert, and this isn't researched or rigorous.
Premise: To be discussed later.
