[Synopsis]

On the day of his eighteenth birthday, Yu Zhou suffers the greatest upheaval of his life. Fu Chenmu, his childhood friend who had looked after him since their days at the orphanage, dies in a car accident right before his eyes. To Yu Zhou, it feels as if the world has collapsed.

After drifting through life in a daze for a while, Yu Zhou goes to Fu Chenmu's house one day as usual to tidy up. As soon as he walks in, he realizes something is wrong.

He knows the layout of everything in Fu Chenmu's home by heart, and immediately spots that someone has been there.

Yu Zhou cautiously makes his way inside. The lights suddenly go out. The next moment, someone grabs his hand tightly, a body with a low temperature presses against his back, and something sharp digs into the artery in his neck. Their breaths mingle, and a familiar, husky voice whispers by his ear.

Yu Zhou's heart skips a beat, heat rising instantly in his eyes. Thinking he's hallucinating, he turns around, only to meet Fu Chenmu's dark red eyes in the dim light.

His light has returned, though it seems to have become a different species.

Synopsis: The new junior who just moved into the dorm is a cool, aloof guy. He never says more than a few words at a time, and always wears a cold expression that makes it seem like everyone owes him money.

He's especially cold toward Lu Yichuan. If everyone else owes him a hundred thousand, Lu Yichuan figures he must owe him another ten zeros on top of that.

Lu Yichuan is baffled. He's good-looking and friendly. He may not be universally adored, but he's at least pretty good at socializing. This is the first time anyone has treated him like such a nuisance.
