Next up: *Stealing the Moon*~
After waking up, Lin Shenshen, the First Secretary stationed in a village, has gone from being a poverty-alleviation expert to the vicious, doomed fake heiress in a story about a real and a fake heiress.
Lin Shenshen: ...Thanks, but no thanks.
Wouldn't it be much better to ditch the plot and go back to her honest, hardworking birth parents, where her dad dotes on her, her mom loves her, and the whole village treats her like a darling?
The familiar rural scenery makes her eyes light up. Her portable farming and poverty-alleviation System is raring to go. To build a better life, all she has to do is roll up her sleeves and get to work.
Day 1: She draws a high-tech sickle. Even an automatic harvester can't hold a candle to it!
Day 2: She draws giant rice seeds. While everyone else works themselves to the bone for a few hundred jin, her family easily harvests over a thousand jin per mu!
Day N: She draws an auto-aim fishing rod. Anyone with hands could do this, right?
A thriving little life isn't enough. The whole village still has a long road ahead before escaping poverty, so Lin Shenshen sets her sights on the novel's most wronged second male lead, Gu Zhan, who is still struggling to study at the estate.
-
As the illegitimate son of the Marquis of Jing'an, Gu Zhan was abandoned in the countryside as a child, where he suffered humiliation from his father's wife and contempt from the servants.
To claim his rightful place, he studies hard, hoping to pass the imperial exams one day.
Who could have guessed that a strange woman with stars in her eyes would suddenly burst into his quiet, arduous life as a student?
Plowing fields, growing crops, raising chickens and pigs, cooking delicious food, providing emergency medical care... Is there anything she can't do?
Most importantly, she cares about the world, and she understands him especially well.
Lin Shenshen only hopes to turn the doomed cannon-fodder character into a distinguished young man who returns after his studies to benefit the whole village. She often wins over the future successful candidate with treats.
With a full stomach from all her treats, Gu Zhan smiles faintly, his eyes darkening: Shenshen, you're the one who came close to me first.
-
A little scene:
Two years later, Gu Zhan places first in the imperial exams. Lin Shenshen hurries over to congratulate him, only to find corpses strewn across the courtyard. He, always so frail, is calmly wiping blood from his sword.
The books in Lin Shenshen's hands, "A Guide to Higher-Yield Sows" and "Improved Seed Varieties: A Proposal", tumble to the ground.
The vicious look has yet to leave Gu Zhan's face. He steps forward and covers her eyes, stammering, "Actually, they struck first."
He had thought that the girl he treasured above all, as clear and bright as the moon, would leave him forever after this.
But instead, she touches his hand and angrily stands up for him: "What?! They dared lay a hand on my man!"

"Chance of Rain"
1.
Xie Qiao fell for that boy at first sight.
Cool, neat, aloof.
A white T-shirt and a pair of sneakers, slightly tousled black hair, sharp features, and a distant expression.
Exactly her type.
She deliberately walked up to him and let his coffee soak her white dress.
As he frowned and apologized, she smiled sweetly and got his WeChat, something no one else had ever managed to do.
She didn't expect the puppy she'd hooked to be so unexpectedly pure-hearted. After they slept together, he hooked a finger around hers and made a considered promise to take responsibility.
Xie Qiao withdrew her hand without a word.
2.
Their relationship ended on a rainy day.
The shabby, long-neglected apartment building was completely at odds with the refined young master. Li Ye stood downstairs, soaked through and shivering.
In a hoarse voice, he spoke with rare humility:
"Xie Qiao, I saw through you the moment we first met, but..."
"Can we make up? Please?"
Xie Qiao stopped on the stairs, but still didn't turn around.
3.
Xie Qiao thought they would never meet again in this lifetime.
But, by chance, they ran into each other in a company conference room.
Her manager gestured toward the impeccably dressed man across the room, whose presence was restrained and aloof, and introduced him with an ingratiating smile: "This is one of our biggest clients, Mr. Li."
A year later, Li Ye had outgrown his boyishness. He wore a sharp black suit, his shirt buttoned meticulously to the very top, and lounged as he glanced at her by the door.
Like a wolf coolly sizing up its prey, he looked down at her from above.
He clasped the hand she extended with an indifferent expression, as if nothing had ever happened.
Yet one night, when he drove her home, he leaned against his black luxury car, tugged at his tie, and asked through the haze of smoke curling around his fingers:
"Let's keep seeing each other."
"No talk of love this time. How does that sound?"
*
Xie Qiao never imagined Li Ye would keep lowering himself for her, just as she could never have guessed that their supposedly "chance" reunion was something Li Ye had schemed and planned for a long time.
And Li Ye had no idea that he was the first flower to bloom in Xie Qiao's barren heart.
"For you, a thousand times over."

I really want to have a side story!!
Column previews include "I became famous after raising a CEO with my baby" and "The male protagonists of campus novels all want to attack me". I hope everyone will collect it and show your appreciation. *Wazong is expected to open on 1.22, And it will be dropped three times on the same day. There will be red envelopes for comments, thank you for your support! I wish you all a happy new year owo and I will write a new story for you in the new year~
Doesn't this end too suddenly? This ending doesn't feel like an ending at all
It's a great story, but it's a pity that it wasn't written into a medium-length novel. The heroine married directly to the capital without describing how she helped the village to alleviate poverty. The ending was too hasty.
Catch bugs! In this chapter, "Gu Mansion" is again written as "Lin Mansion". There are three mistakes.
To catch a bug, "Father Lin and Lin Tianyang have been plowing and turning the soil in the sky these days" should be "in the fields"
Wow, the male protagonist is white and black!!
Not like catkins blowing up in the wind!
Crystal steamed dumplings should be made with gluten-free flour. Ordinary starch can't be used, right?
Hahahahahahahahaha It turns out that the male protagonist followed the female protagonist's advice and "returned the book."
