Sha Hang, the person in charge of C1052, had been worried lately. It seemed this little rascal had developed a few glitches.
A robot who had always been gentle and courteous had suddenly become really obnoxious when he spoke. He had even started asking the state for a salary.
And from what Sha Hang had observed, C1052 had recently been restless and sometimes even got distracted while working.
Most baffling and astonishing of all, Sha Hang had discovered that he was experiencing human emotions: joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness.
So Sha Hang decided to go on a business trip for a few days and hold a seminar in the capital, where he could discuss C1052's strange recent "symptoms" and possible solutions with the research team.
"I've arranged it with my junior. While I'm away, you'll stay at her place for now."
"Okay," he replied, his voice rising cheerfully.
Sha Hang paused while packing and immediately looked up. He hadn't missed the curve of C1052's lips.
