A vase-like female top-tier star X an arthouse film director

Jin Yuan became famous after her debut thanks to her stunning face, becoming a top-tier star in the industry.

After making it big, Jin Yuan attended all kinds of fashion events and variety shows. Whenever she acted, she was always cast in decorative roles with little screen time.

Someone looking for a scoop once asked if she could never get offered a female lead role.

Jin Yuan replied, "I've been offered plenty of female lead roles, but I know my limits. My acting isn't good enough to carry a leading role, and I don't want to hurt the audience's eyes."

Liu Jinzhi was an arthouse film director from Hong Kong. His debut film won numerous awards, and he later made a splash at all three major European film festivals.

Liu Jinzhi rose to fame at a young age. He was talented and handsome, came from a prominent Hong Kong family, and was renowned both inside and outside the film industry.

One day, a gossip account claimed that Liu Jinzhi planned to cast Jin Yuan as the female lead in a film he'd spent years preparing. The news quickly became a laughingstock.

Unexpectedly, Liu Jinzhi posted on Weibo soon afterward.

Liu Jinzhi: Jin Yuan is my wife and my muse.

Weibo promptly crashed.

After Jin Yuan finished filming Liu Jinzhi's movie, she finally had a genuine signature role.

But whether the couple attended promotional events for the film or award ceremonies, they seemed distant despite putting on a united front.

Another gossip account claimed the two were merely a couple in a business marriage with no real feelings, and that the film was Liu Jinzhi's parting gift to Jin Yuan before their divorce.

But everyone waited and waited, only to see the usually aloof and low-key Liu Jinzhi start showing off his love on Weibo, proving through his actions that the divorce rumors were false.

Theme: Love takes effort from both sides.
