Synopsis
A Synopsis of I Don't Know What:
A strange rumor has been circulating in the Upper Realm lately: Heqing, the High God, has gone to the mortal world and turned into a high school student! He's actually attending high school, and he's gotten extremely close to a human!!!
The other High Gods: Nonsense! Scaremongering!
Lu Qi, the High God Heqing, was born of Heaven and Earth and governs the rivers of the four directions. He was first raised personally by the Celestial Emperor, then entrusted to the Medicine God, Zhu Song, who brought him up. Cool-tempered and taciturn, he was utterly indifferent to humans, gods, and every other species. Yet five hundred years ago, there was another rumor about Heqing in the Upper Realm: Heqing had found a companion. The two were deeply in love, and even raised a little prince together, living under one roof at Suyan Manor.
The immortals were speechless. The immortals didn't believe it. Then they saw the person, and were shocked. The immortals were envious.
But later, when the Demon Lord awoke, chaos engulfed the mortal world. During the battle to seal him again, that companion died. Heqing, however, remained very calm. Calmly going insane, he descended to the mortal world frequently and grew even more sharp-tongued and cold, nearly driving all the immortals to their deaths. The gods appealed to the Celestial Emperor, who forced Heqing into seclusion. He did not emerge until three hundred years later. The gods were still trembling with fear, but they hadn't expected Heqing to return to his old self and stop mentioning a certain person. So the gods, who had once found it impossible to unite, finally reached an agreement: they would never mention that matter or that person again.

Two hundred years after emerging from seclusion, Lu Qi inexplicably descended to the mortal world again. He settled in Suyue Lane, in the old district of Qingning City. Zhu Song then inexplicably enrolled him in school, where he attended Class 1, Grade 11, at Qingning No. 1 High School as a transfer student.
He thought high school would be dull, but never imagined that a vicious beast would escape with the Celestial Mirror, bringing a string of strange incidents, all closely tied to the beast. So Lu Qi and his deskmate, Shen Changji, joined forces to solve cases, unravel the world's mysteries, and settle other people's grudges, hoping to capture the beast. But the Demon Lord's seal began to weaken again...

Shen Changji is an eleventh-grade student who lives in Baixing Village, in the countryside on the outskirts of Qingning City. He's mild-mannered and kind to others, but has been dogged by misfortune since childhood. Both his parents died, and everyone shunned him. He survived only because he was raised by a century-old ginkgo tree in the garden that had taken human form.
Plot Synopsis:
One time, during a school break, Lu Qi went to visit Shen Changji.
It was late autumn. Golden ginkgo leaves drifted softly on the breeze, as if dusk were spreading across the earth. Shen Changji was reclining on a lounge chair, resting in the evening twilight. He reached out to catch one of the floating golden leaves, wanting to hold a piece of dusk, but no matter what he did, he couldn't grasp it. He could only withdraw his hand with a helpless sigh, glance at Lu Qi, who was quietly drinking tea, and close his eyes.
A moment later, something lightly brushed his eyelashes. He opened his eyes to see a ginkgo leaf. Looking past it, he saw Lu Qi's expressionless face, but there was warmth in his eyes. Lu Qi was holding the leaf by its stem. When he saw Shen Changji open his eyes, he brushed the leaf against his cheek again.
Shen Changji smiled gently, his eyes curving into crescents. Rather than take the leaf, he reached up and clasped Lu Qi's hand, lifting it. In the glow of dusk, the leaf shone brighter than the twilight itself.
Thank you for giving me something more beautiful than dusk.
A cool, calculating, sharp-tongued top who is actually gentle with his husband VS a warm, devoted wife-type bottom who is clever but secretly ruthless, and never shows mercy
Theme: Fear not the darkness. Always look forward to the future and the light
