Ballad of the Wild Sands

She is the bravest general in the great desert, the woman of every man's dreams in the Western Wastelands. But he is merely the lowest of slaves, a wretch whose face is too ugly for anyone to look at. From beginning to end, he never even had the right to dream of her. But life is unpredictable. The slave is freed from his bondage, and even a general can stumble. When they meet again, she sees him as her only support. She strokes his gentle, handsome features. "Jun'er, who am I?" "You are Si Kuang, my Si Kuang." And yet, she is still the Western Wastelands' wild general, while he is far more than a former slave. Memories surge back, wave after wave. The past fades like smoke, and their peaceful life finally comes to an end. Seated on her horse, she reaches out her hand. "If I am Yue Sikuang, will you still follow me like a shadow?" Her expression is wild and unrestrained. How could she ever give him the power to say no? The male lead seems dominant, but only seems that way. The underlying dynamic of a strong woman and a weak man remains unchanged. Core Theme: Truth lies in a simple life.
