Chu Hang transmigrated into a Sentinel-Guide world and became a pitiful young man whose parents had died, family had fallen into decline, and fiancé had abandoned him.
The poor thing had just awakened as a Guide, the lowest-ranked E-class Guide. After barely graduating from Guide school, he had no money or assets and had inherited a sanatorium on the brink of bankruptcy.
All the patients at the sanatorium were Sentinels suffering from severe mania. Their minds had collapsed, they were delirious, and all they could do was wait hopelessly for death.
Chu Hang: "Why aren't they being treated?"
"Severe mania is incurable."
Chu Hang: What a coincidence. I have a solution.
Chu Hang had psychic abilities that could treat severe mania. He decided to cure these patients, then charge each of them a hefty treatment fee.
Soon, one patient after another regained consciousness under his care.
Chu Hang held up a price list. "Treatment for an E-class Sentinel: 90,000."
The E-class Sentinel was overjoyed. "Thank you, thank you, Doctor! You're an angel!"
Chu Hang: "Treatment for a D-class Sentinel: 190,000."
The D-class Sentinel was moved to tears. "Thank you, Doctor! You're my god!"
Chu Hang: "Treatment for a C-class Sentinel: 290,000."
The C-class Sentinel couldn't believe it. "You really cured me! No problem, I'll pay whatever it costs!"
Until he reached the last patient, an SSS-class Sentinel named Lu Shiyun. "Doctor, is my treatment fee 890,000?"
Chu Hang: "That's right."
Lu Shiyun looked troubled. "I'm sorry, Doctor. I've lost my memory and can't afford the treatment. Could I work off the debt?"
SSS-class Sentinels were so rare that Chu Hang couldn't find out who he was either. Feeling sorry for him, Chu Hang reluctantly agreed. They signed a contract: Lu Shiyun would work for Chu Hang for free for three years.

Much later, Chu Hang happened to learn that while SSS-class Sentinels were rare, the Empire did have one: the young tyrant, known for his violent temper and unpredictable moods.
They said the tyrant had waged war year after year, was ruthless, and hated being told what to do.
Chu Hang turned around and looked at Lu Shiyun, who was running back and forth at his orders, sweeping one moment and washing dishes the next. His expression nearly cracked.
"Is it still possible to send him away now?"
