[Road-trip novel, healing, the story of one person pursuing another]
1.
On the way to Mount Hua, a group of people travel with their own burdens. One mourns a fallen comrade, one suppresses their true self, and one longs for someone from the past.
How did these strangers end up tangled together?
Shi Mingzhou irritably smokes a cigarette. It's not that he can't let things go. He's angry that the other person slept with him and then acted like nothing had happened.
So he insists on pursuing the matter, stubbornly saying, "I have to take responsibility and pay you compensation. I..."
Zhao Chuxie pulls out her phone. "Here's my QR code. I'll transfer you the money."
Shi Mingzhou grits his teeth. "That's illegal."
2.
Zhao Chuxie can hardly explain the story of how she and Shi Mingzhou traveled together from Mount Hua to Chengdu, western Sichuan, and Lhasa. No one can match Shi Mingzhou when it comes to doggedly pursuing someone.
She steps into a frigid, icy river. He calls her a "little brat" and rescues her.
With her back to him, she faces the horizon, as if she could fall into the mortal world thousands of feet below at any moment. He kneels on the ground, humble and timid, begging her to turn back and love him too.
And so, she falls for him. They watch the sun slowly sink, kiss in the night, share a cigarette, and sip from the same bottle of wine.
Zhao Chuxie thinks he's a wonderful man. If she had to name a flaw, he'd be a little too hard to shake off.

Content Warnings / Reading Guide / Very Important:
1. Bad ending. A little angsty, though not all that angsty. Mostly it's about regret, the kind that hurts.
2. Not a traditional healing story. Extremely melodramatic.
3. Both leads have psychological trauma. The female lead has depression and works as a DNA analyst. The male lead has PTSD and is a veteran.
4. The female lead is not a virgin, but the male lead is.
5. Half road trip, half urban setting.

Kiss Debt is a sweet romance. Add it to your list if you're interested!
1.
Wen Dongsheng is the romantic debt Ning Yan has incurred. He's a heaven-blessed prodigy who never falls from grace.
Whenever she looks at his face, she wants to drag him into an abyss, make him lose himself, and hide him away. She sends flowers, writes songs, and clumsily prepares dinner and cake, teaching him how to become infatuated with her, how to go mad for her.
Later, he bares his heart, only to discover it was all a lie.
Feeling guilty, she forces herself to coax him. When she realizes it won't work, she turns on her heel and leaves.
2.
In Wen Dongsheng's eyes, Ning Yan is beautiful and sexy, naturally talented, and wholehearted in everything she does, whether singing, writing lyrics, painting, or even making him a cheap bowl of instant noodles.
So why can't she put her heart into loving him?
Only later does he learn that her passionate devotion belongs to someone else. She's infatuated with his face, and even her confession at his concert was fake, so fake that it leaves him consumed by possessive jealousy.
In the days after they part, Wen Dongsheng is so angry his head aches. Every day, he writes in his notebook: Ning Yan is a little brat.
3.
After Ning Yan becomes the heartless one, perhaps as punishment, she can't write lyrics or sing a song. Her rival releases a new single while she's at a low point and wins a major award.
Her manager is frantic and takes her to meet a famous lyricist to find inspiration.
When she opens the door, she sees him in a simple, thin shirt, dignified and immaculate, completely absorbed in a book of bamboo slips.
Remembering her manager's advice, she puts on a dazzling smile and flatters him.
He turns around, and Ning Yan's legs nearly give out. Before he even says a word, she's already lost the upper hand.
Because she's guilty, of course!
But a chemistry professor has nothing to do with music, so how did he become a lyricist?
She leans in to take a look. The book is filled with the words "Ning Yan is a little brat."
He raises his head, his eyes red and his voice low and tense. "Yanyan, during the time we were apart, did your heart ever hurt?"
**
An obsessive, aloof perfectionist
A bewitching flirt who never means a word
Theme: Freedom of the heart is the best salvation
This kind of ending is quite good, and Shi Mingzhou deserves to be sincere to others, otherwise Zhao Chuxie will always have Bai Yueguang in his heart who is much more important than him, and it would be unfair to him. If you haven't completely let go, you will live alone. If you have feelings for others, you will always have a problem that you can't get over. There is no need.
Gone? It's gone... I just paid for the review and just saw Chapter 15. At first I was staring to avoid getting hurt from the neck down, but as I read the whole article, my mind was in turmoil. I picked up a romance I hadn't read in a while and searched for the main character's name. It really lived up to my expectations. The emotions between both parties were very delicate, and it is my favorite writing style. I hope the author will work hard and look forward to updates
I actually cried. They are both very good people. I hope it is he.
I think the last word should be he. The torrent of time always hates the scattering of poor people.
I still hope for him, but I feel like it's painful to be separated from a human life, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Where are people? Update~ Knock on the bowl
😭 Can the author write a side story? I still feel bad after the second update. I really want to see them reconcile 🙏
Is the author really not considering writing a side story? The two of them match up so well.
It's such a pity after reading this?
Are you really not going to write any more extras, woo woo woo?
